USA Shipping & Tariffs – FAQ

Why has shipping to the US changed?

From August 29, 2025, the United States has changed its import rules.

Before, parcels worth under $800 could be sent to the US without any extra charges. This was called the de minimis exemption. Unfortunately, this exemption has now been removed.

This means:

- Every parcel sent to the US must now go through customs.

- Customs duties and taxes now apply to all orders, regardless of value.

How does this affect your order with us?

To make things easier for our US customers, we’ve updated our checkout system so that:

- All duties and taxes are paid upfront at checkout.

- When we ship your parcel with Royal Mail, customs fees are already covered, so your parcel clears smoothly without surprise charges on arrival.

- This means you won’t be asked to pay extra by the courier before your order is delivered.

What this means for you

- No unexpected customs bills.

- A simpler, all-in price at checkout.

- Faster and smoother delivery, since your parcel won’t be held at customs for payment.

We’ll continue to keep you updated if anything changes, and we appreciate your support while these new US import rules are in place.
